Ostuncalco 2011 – “And so he became two duplicitous men”

http://dardogallettostudios.com/wp-load.php The work was produced in March 2011, for soldiers around Tahrir Square in Cairo during the 18 days of protesting and the two months later. Each photo has been digitally manipulated to duplicate military soldiers at the square to comment about our confused feelings regarding military commanders those days, trust and distrust, contradictions between nice announcements in media, and real actions on streets.
The series has been shown in a group exhibition at Darb1817 art center in Cairo in 2011.
